Rossnowlagh European Life Saving Competition
The European Youth Lifesaving Championships 2026 will take place in Rossnowlagh, Ireland, on September 5 and 6. This event will be the second time Ireland has hosted the championships, with the first being at Kilkee Beach, County Clare in 2018. The championships are for competitors with a maximum age of 18 and are the junior equivalent of the European Lifesaving Championships. The competition will test a full range of lifesaving skills required by lifeguards. The beach at Rossnowlagh, known for its surf and lifesaving activities, will provide the perfect arena for this international event.
