StrandCamping Clare, with four fabulous pubs and two great restauarants! We are apposite a beach with a fantastic surfing beach near a well known Golf Course.

Small, friendly motorhome/campervan campsite, Quality Assured by Fáilte Ireland, overlooking a beautiful bay on the Wild Atlantic Way, near the village of Doonbeg in Co. Strand camping is a small campsite dedicated to camping, caravans and motorhomes, we do not have any static/park homes on site. We also have a very family friendly beach nearby which has again retained its' Blue Flag status. The village which is within easy walking distance has 5 excellent pubs, 3 restaurants, a couple of take-aways and convenience stores plus other shops in addition to the Doctors Surgery. The campsite has a small dog walk and agility area. An enclosed kick about area for children. Free high speed WiFi across the whole site. Close to the ferry from Kerry and the attractions going upwards following the Wild Atlantic Way. All Pitches have electric available. The campsite has About 20 pitches in total.

🚗 PARKING IN DOONBEG – WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED

Coming to the Amgen Irish Open or planning a visit to Doonbeg this week? Here’s what you need to know.

⛳ Amgen Irish Open Park & Ride
Ticket holders travelling to the Irish Open from outside the Doonbeg area should use the official Amgen Park & Ride facilities.

💙💛 Doonbeg Local & Festival Parking
There is ample FREE parking on the Kilrush Road (L2030) for local residents attending the golf and for anyone coming to enjoy Doonbeg Fáilte Fest, visit local businesses or spend an evening in the village.

And if you’re using the Amgen Park & Ride for the golf, don’t head straight home afterwards! Come down to Doonbeg, park up and enjoy Fáilte Fest and the village.

🚗 Doonbeg is OPEN and accessible from both the Kilrush and Kilkee directions.
