What a week 🤩 Not only did we get a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award but we also passed our Fáilte Ireland inspection & retained our ‘Welcome Standard’ status 🙌 We’re delighted with the assessor’s comments… “Strand Camping is a well-presented campsite situated in a scenic location overlooking
Doonbeg Bay, Co. Clare.
It consists of 22 pitches and can sleep 60 guests at a maximum.
All accommodation is provided on a self-catering basis.
I was accompanied by the proprietor Simon during the assessment.
Facilities available on site include reception area, ladies and gents’ public toilets, shower
facilities, laundry room, communal kitchen, dining area, waste disposal facilities and
recreational amenities for dog walking and a children’s playing field.
There is a strong emphasis on fire safety throughout. Fire extinguishers are located
throughout the site and are subject to regular inspection and maintenance.
The campsite is meticulously maintained and benefits from many security measures
including external lighting, CCTV coverage and a remotely controlled entrance barrier.
Simon provided a detailed overview of the guest experience from booking to departure.
The proprietors reside on site and is available for any assistance required or in the event
of an emergency.
Overall, the property is well managed and presented to a very high standard, the quality of
the facilities and the excellent customer care contribute positively to the guest experience
and support continued repeat business.
This is commendable to management and your team.”
