Gods, Ancestors, or Something Else Entirely?

Saturday, 26 September 2026

Glebe House, Dowth, County Meath

Spend a full day exploring the identity, origins and extraordinary stories of the Tuatha Dé Danann – the mysterious supernatural race at the heart of Irish mythology.

We will examine what the medieval texts actually tell us, explore the principal figures and traditions, and consider whether the Tuatha Dé Danann were understood as gods, ancestors or something else entirely.
