Early Annual Apple Pressing 🍎🍏

Another year...another harvest!

This year we are on the ball and picked our earlies before the birds and wasps!

This annual harvest always feels daunting but once we get going we flow! 😁
A lovely week last week for picking the earlies...and this week we press, pasturise and bottle.

'Our Summer in a Bowl'

Summer has been beautiful this year. 💛☀️💛 The blueberries and figs are amazing. I used our own honey to roast off the figs and all I had to buy was the natural yoghurt, scatter the fruit and drizzle with honey 😋

We had a full house of fantastic Johnson-Collins team work and beautiful weekend weather 🥰☀️ preparing the glamping site, I was not expecting these hail stone showers today though!!! Still plodding on with jobs but not quite as efficient!!! 😅

Winter brings different work to our spring/summer glamping; apple harvesting and everything else apple related! 😁willow coppicing, painting, orchard maintenence..the list is never ending! 😅

However this morning, after too long, I sat with my coffee and my loud singing birds and watched the sunrise...blessed! 🩷🧡💛

A perfect day to complete the last willow sales and plant the last apple tree grafts. 🥰

We welcomed this little special one into our lives at the end of 2025, now in 2026 he - 'Bainne' (milk in Gaelic) has truly settled in!

Happy New Year to all those who stayed with us in 2025. With lovely customers visiting from all over the world to more local families friends and couples here in Ireland, we met some great people. Worth mentioning our fabulous and fun hen parties. You we're ALL fabulous and an absolute pleasure to host.
