Looks like they pretty much all sell out these days. Reduced capacity because of buggies :) so there's a waiting list on all of them. Thanks so much to the m**s, dads, grands, minders friends, affiliates who get a baby out the door for a morning gig but on the flipside that's your culture SORTED for the weekend.
Previous attendees report a big well being boost just from Having Booked A Thing, Any Thing on a day where they're Having Quite A Day.

lovely line up for Inn Jokes Kilmainham this month! Shane Daniel Byrne, Gar Murran and Taran O'Sullivan
Back after skipping a month and rearing to go. The wonderful Shane Daniel Byrne is fresh from a great Edinburgh run, award-winning podcast, scandalous TV show (These Sacred Vows), about to be the angel in It's A Wonderful Life at the Gate and a big tour next year. Real deal superstar and crowd favourite at Inn Jokes
Gar Murran is one of the best MCs and crowdworkers in the country but also writes and tells great jokes. First time at Inn Jokes in a good while -my fault- it'll be great to have him back.
Taran O'Sullivan is going from strength to strength -starting out with roles in Hardy Bucks, Callan's kicks, and No Worries if Not, debuting at all the big festivals in the last few years, and with her own regular slot on national radio she's set to be the next break out star.
We also have a special guest who is popping along - selling some big venues so we won't be undercutting 🙂 you'll see when you come along.

A massive loss for Dublin and Ireland with the death of Glen Hansard during the week. One of our best musicians and promoters of the arts. It’s been a sad week and we send our wishes to his family and friends. Looking back over the week you can see across social media how many people he really impacted. We will have the opportunity to pay our respects to Glen on Monday across the road. Glen played with the Frames in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham back in May 2022 and it only feels like not so long ago. Some images of the gig included. RIP Glen 💔
A public wake will be held in the Baroque Chapel at IMMA, Royal Hospital Kilmainham, on Monday 3 August, from 11am to 4pm, where Glen will lie in repose.
His funeral will take place the following day, Tuesday 4 August, at 1:30pm in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin.
Whether you knew him through The Frames, Once, his solo work, or simply the generosity of spirit he brought to Irish music, Glen’s voice and songs have left an enduring mark on so many lives. We will be playing his music more in the pub as he really was a gem of Dublin.
