RENVYLE HOUSE HOTEL – Ireland
Where Connemara meets the Atlantic

On the Wild Atlantic Way in County Galway, Renvyle House stands within 150 acres of its own: a private freshwater lake, woodlands, gardens and a beach. It was once the home of the poet and surgeon Oliver St. John Gogarty, whose guests included W. B. Yeats and Lady Gregory.
Today it is a four-star country house with 68 rooms, turf fires in the front hall and five-course dinners in the Rusheenduff Restaurant. Days here are for the lake, the shore and the mountains of Connemara; evenings are for the fireside. Winner of Best Countryside Hotel at the Historic Hotels of Europe Awards 2024.
