The man who keeps our hotel shining — full of smiles and good energy. Here’s a little Q&A to help you get to know him better.
Our GM Ehi Ojeifo AKA "the big man"
What's one thing that motivates you every morning when you walk into the hotel?
"Knowing we're still writing the story here. As the first Home2 Suites in Europe, everything we do sets the standard, and every guest who leaves happy is proof we're getting it right. That's a great reason to walk through the door each morning."
What's your favourite part of being a GM?
"The variety and the people. One minute I'm looking at numbers, the next I'm solving a problem at the front desk or catching up with the team. No two days are the same, and seeing everyone come together to make it all work is the best part of the job."
What's your personal philosophy on guest experience?
"Treat every guest the way you'd want to be treated. It's the small things that make the biggest difference: listening, noticing what matters to people and going that extra step. If a guest feels genuinely at home with us, we've done our job."
Tell us a fun fact about you that your team might not even know.
"I'm a gamer! When I'm not walking the floors or checking the numbers, you might find me with a controller in hand. Family time comes first though, and my wife keeps me well grounded, especially when I get a little too competitive. Fair warning to the team: I'm more competitive than I look!"
