We were delighted to attend the launch of the Louth Tourism Strategy 2026–2031 this week.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces, passionate business owners, and community champions all in the one room.

We truly believe that when we work together, great things happen. We look forward to collaborating with even more businesses across the county in the years ahead, overcoming challenges, creating opportunities, and continuing to showcase the very best of Louth.

When Minister Peter Burke asks for a photo, you oblige 😅

All jokes aside, Monday’s launch of the Visit Louth Tourism Strategy 2026–2031 was spectacular! 🤩

A fantastic panel of legends, plenty of influential business people who are passionate about the products and/or services they provide to locals and tourists alike, and such encouragement from the likes of Louth County Council, Peter Burke, who officially launched the event, Fáilte Ireland and the many tourism ambassadors in attendance. It truly was something special. 🥰

We have so many hidden gems here in Louth, and people buy from people they know. The sense of collaboration and camaraderie in the room on Monday was genuinely beautiful to witness.

The passion for our wee county was palpable, and I’m excited to see what this next chapter brings for visitors to . We’re also looking forward to working alongside so many more like-minded people along the way. 🤗

The Louth Land of Legends is definitely alive and well. 💯

Meet the artist behind The Corrs mural in Dundalk - Michael Thompson. 🎨

It was a pleasure to chat with Michael and Dundalk Town Centre Manager Martin McElligott recently. Michael shared some brilliant advice for young aspiring artists and told us what Jim Corr thought of the mural when he stopped by during the painting process. Martin also reflected on his highlights from the past 10 years as Town Centre Manager and shared his vision for the future of Dundalk.

Tune in to tomorrow’s 11–1 Show on LMFM to hear the full interview 🎙️

At Glen G*t House, we were delighted to accommodate Michael once again as he completed his fourth mural in Dundalk. Guests to Glen G*t House will know our love for the legends and stories of Louth, with artwork throughout the house featuring Cú Chulainn and the Brown Bull of Cooley. Michael also created the striking Cú Chulainn mural in Dundalk as part of the EPSO Murals project, making this collaboration even more special.

We’re looking forward to the official unveiling tomorrow ahead of The Corrs’ Civic Reception. It’s wonderful to see Dundalk celebrating its own 🥰✨
