The Getaway Dungarvan The Getaway, a family-run Eco Camp in County Waterford, nestled in the stunning Comeragh Mountains.

Bring the dog — they deserve a getaway too. 🐾

The Red Kite and The Peregrine are our two pet-friendly cabins at The Getaway, both sleeping 2 and surrounded by plenty of fresh air and open space.

Each cabin has its own en-suite, self-catering kitchenette and private decking, and we’ve an enclosed Dog Run on site where they can enjoy some off-lead time too.

Spend the day exploring the Comeragh Mountains or head into Dungarvan, then come back, put your feet up and settle in for the evening — with your four-legged companion right beside you.

Our two resident goats live on Goat Island here at The Getaway, and they’re always happy to see our guests.

There’s something even better about a wood-fired hot tub when the evenings start getting a little cooler.

The Hen Harrier sleeps up to 4 and has its own private wood-fired hot tub, tucked away in your Secret Garden beside the stream.

Spend the day exploring Dungarvan and the Comeragh Mountains, then head back, get the hot tub going and settle in for the evening.

Now that sounds like a September getaway.
