☕ Meet the hardest-working machine in the South East.

No holidays. No sick days. No complaints to HR. Just coffee. Lots and lots of coffee. 😂

Our beautiful barista machine puts in a serious shift , over 16 hours a day, keeping everyone caffeinated from first thing in the morning right through to those all-important late-night Espresso Martinis. 🍸

And just look at her… all clean, polished and posing for the camera. ✨

A little reminder of when you can put her to work:
☕ Coffee Hatch: Open every day from 8am
Grab a coffee to go or take a seat and enjoy it in the courtyard.
🍰 Café: Open from just after 10am midweek and 10:30am at weekends
🍸 Espresso Martini Department: Still pulling shots late into the night, right up to 10:30pm.

From the first flat white to the last Espresso Martini, she really is the hardest-working member of the Hat Maker Hotel team.

(Please don’t tell the rest of the staff we said that.) 😬☕🍸

In case you’ve been wondering why we’ve been a little quiet on social media lately… it’s because we’ve been very busy behind the scenes. 🤍

Our first full summer at The Hat Maker Hotel has been an absolute whirlwind … in the very best way.

To every single person who chose to stay with us, walked through our doors, stopped by for a drink, or enjoyed a bite in our courtyard; thank you. It means the world to us to see the hotel full of life, and we’ve been incredibly lucky with some beautiful weather along the way. ☀️

And, of course, none of it would be possible without our brilliant team. They’ve shown up, worked incredibly hard, and helped make our first summer one to remember. We couldn’t do it without them. ❤️

But summer isn’t over just yet…

Come by for a drink, spend an afternoon in the courtyard, or make a night of it. We still have some room availability for the end of August, so there’s still time for one last summer escape.

And keep an eye on our socials. We’re working behind the scenes on some exciting new packages and collaborations that we’ll be sharing over the next few weeks. 👀

☀️ The sunshine’s been here for a while… now the sangria has arrived. 🍷

Just in time to make those warm afternoons even better, we’re now serving our house-made Sangria by the Jug.

Our lift has had a bit of a makeover, dressed in beautiful wallpaper by House of Hackney, and we think it’s earned its place on the grid!

✨ We were delighted to see The Hat Maker Hotel featured in the Irish Independent this weekend, with Darren Kennedy DARREN KENNEDY speaking to our wonderful interior designer Anne Kirby of AK Design Anne Kirby

Anne shares her approach to creating homes full of personality by mixing vintage finds with contemporary interiors, a philosophy that is woven throughout every corner of The Hat Maker Hotel.

As Anne says, the most memorable spaces are not the most perfect, but the most personal. Layered, lived-in and full of character, they tell a story, and that is exactly what we hoped to create here in Dungarvan.
