🏆 BOUTIQUE HOTEL OF THE YEAR! 🏆
We’re absolutely over the moon to share that The Hat Maker Hotel has been named Boutique Hotel of the Year at the Georgina Campbell Awards!
To say this means a lot to us would be an understatement.
We opened our doors on 29th May 2025, and having only just come through our very first full summer, to receive recognition like this so early in our journey is something incredibly special.
As a small, independent hotel in the heart of Dungarvan, we’ve poured so much into creating somewhere with its own character, warmth and personality. Somewhere people feel genuinely welcome, whether they’re travelling from afar or popping in from just down the road.
But above all, this award is a testament to our incredible team. From the very first day, every single person has played a part in bringing The Hat Maker to life. The long days, the early mornings, the attention to the little details, the laughs, the challenges and the genuine care that goes into looking after every guest. This is a huge team effort, and we couldn’t be prouder of the people behind it all.
To our wonderful guests, our friends, our neighbours and the Dungarvan community, thank you for getting behind us from day one. Your support has meant more than you know.
And to Georgina Campbell and the judging team, thank you for recognising what we’re building here. It’s an enormous honour to be included among so many fantastic Irish hospitality businesses.
We’re still finding our feet, still learning, and still very much at the beginning of our story. But today, we’re taking a moment to celebrate just how far we’ve come.
