𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐲!
€7,123 Raised for Slaney Search and Rescue.
What an incredible day we had on the stunning River Slaney as the Riverside Park Hotel came together to support our chosen charity for 2026, Slaney Search & Rescue.
This amazing organisation does exceptional work throughout the year and provided invaluable assistance to so many people earlier this year. We are proud to support such a worthy cause.
Led by our General Manager, Barry, and organised by our fantastic Charity Committee in collaboration with Go Paddle, teams took to the water for a thrilling kayak race. And when we say the competition was fierce, that's putting it mildly!
With the sun shining, the River Slaney providing a spectacular backdrop, and plenty of team spirit on display, the event was filled with energy, fun, and friendly rivalry. After the race, participants and their families enjoyed a well-earned BBQ, making it a fantastic day for everyone involved.
Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our teams, sponsors, and supporters, we were absolutely delighted to raise a whopping €7,123 for Slaney Search & Rescue!
A huge thank you to Go Paddle, without whom this event simply would not have been possible, and to all the businesses and individuals who generously sponsored prizes and contributed to the fundraising efforts. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to every team that participated and to our dedicated Charity Committee for all their hard work behind the scenes.
The day was a tremendous success from start to finish, and we're already counting down the days until next year's event!
