Aran Island Ferries are proud to support the Sunday Independent’s Rock Against Homelessness in aid of Focus Ireland which makes its first trip to the Aran Islands. Headline acts include John Spillane and Padraig Jack, Anthony Thistlethwaite of the Saw Doctors, formerly of The Wateboys, as well as Galway Girl Joyce Redmond and Celtic artist Deirdre Ní Chinnéide who will be accompanied by Ruth Forrest on Harp. This powerful show of solidarity with the homeless community will also feature Galway singer-songwriter Dave Clancy and Deirdre Ní Chonghaile as well as Aran songwriter Barry Ronan. MC for the event will be Diane Flaherty who recently featured in The Traitors Ireland.

Now in its eleventh year, Rock Against Homelessness has established itself as a major annual concert for Focus Ireland – acts that have played over the years include Fontaines D.C., Kneecap, Dermot Kennedy, Lyra, Imelda May, Paul Brady, Glen Hansard and Mary Wallopers.

Event entry is free and donations are welcome; all proceeds directly support services for people facing homelessness.
