☘️ Not far from Kenmare (20km) in County Kerry, the Gleninchaquin Falls are truly beautiful. Breath-taking landscape and scenery in which it is a sheer delight to wander around. A long narrow coombe valley on the North West side of the Beara Peninsula, formed by glaciation approximately 70,000 years ago, and changed little since. Breathtaking 💚🤍🧡

Just back from beautiful Glengarriff on the coast in west Cork, where I completed this musical themed mural on Bernard Harrington's pub wall. Bernard's is one of those legendary destinations which is known far and wide for it's great music sessions and hospitality.

In the winter of 1602, Donal Cam O'Sullivan Beare gathered the last of his people in Glengarriff and led them north on a 500-mile march to Leitrim. 📣

This weekend - over 400 years later - Glengarriff is one of the Beara villages helping to welcome the clan home and celebrate what we hope will be a world-record-beating family name gathering! 🔥

On Friday night the village bars will be alive with music. 🎶

On Sunday evening the Eccles Hotel will host a buffet with music and entertainment to round off a remarkable weekend. ☘️

And on Sunday afternoon at Dunboy Castle, Phase One of the Beara Breifne Way will be officially opened, tracing the famous march north in a iconic hertage walking trail.
