Welcome to one of the most beautiful small towns in Ireland: Graiguenamanagh in Kilkenny!

Nestled at the foot of Brandon Hill, Graiguenamanagh—"the village of the monks"—is a charming riverside haven steeped in history and natural beauty 🗺

Founded in 1204, Duiske Abbey stands as a magnificent centerpiece.

Once the largest of Ireland’s Cistercian monasteries, its soaring Gothic arches and meticulously restored nave transport you back to the Middle Ages. Peer into its model of the 14th-century monastery to glimpse a bygone world of devotion and craftsmanship.

Cross the elegant seven-arched limestone bridge built in 1764 and pause to watch kayakers glide along the Barrow's glistening waters, a tradition rooted in the river’s centuries-old role as a bustling trade route!
