The Bolthole is our self catering house with a real summer feel. Shorts, Teeshirts and deck shoes are order of the day with wine and a BBQ on the patio for the evenings. Holiday bliss.

Just a note as many of our colleagues over the summer return to school and college in the coming days. We employ many students each year but this year you were just fabulous. Your personality, attitude, work ethic and maturity of each of you was beyond your age. Education is vital and Ireland produces some of the best graduates in the world but that’s an academic measure, a points based system that does not consider any of the above mentioned traits that you have in abundance. A teacher once said he made a point of addressing the first year D Class pupils on the first day. He tells them in his experience most of the A Class will end up working for them. So head down, study hard and achieve as much as you can but do not become discouraged if the system doesn’t suit you, it has the problem not you. There are many paths in life and you will find yours, regardless of points. Thank you for working with us and we wish you every happiness in the year ahead. See you in April, that’s the most important point 😂
