We were delighted to welcome Mayor of Limerick out to Ballyorgan for a look around Ballyhoura Glamping, thanks to who brought him out to visit us.

It was great to show John what we’ve created here, chat about the journey so far and, of course, give him the full tour of the pods and our little corner of the Ballyhouras.

We’re a small, family-run business and there’s been a serious amount of work, heart (and probably a few questionable decisions 😂) gone into getting Ballyhoura Glamping to where it is today, so it was genuinely lovely to have the opportunity to show it off.

Thanks so much to John for taking the time from his busy schedule to visit and to Tommy for thinking of us and bringing him out.

Well... it's finally here! ♨️

We've been bursting to share this one.

Our hot tub is officially ready, and we have a feeling it's going to be a favourite.

Some days call for adventure. Some days call for putting the phone away, soaking your weary bones and doing absolutely nothing. The good news is, at Ballyhoura Glamping you don't have to choose.

Spend the day hiking or biking through the Ballyhoura trails, then come back, pour yourself something nice and sink into the hot tub while the world slows down for a while.

That sounds like a pretty good day to us.

🌼 The wildflowers are doing their thing...

One of our favourite parts of the site has really come to life over the last few days and we couldn't be happier with it.

This was always part of the plan when we were building Ballyhoura Glamping. We wanted to create a little haven for biodiversity and give the bees, butterflies and all the other critters a place to thrive. Seeing it come to life like this makes all the effort worthwhile.

A little reminder to slow down, take a look around and enjoy the small moments. Grab a coffee, sit back and take it all in.

One of the first questions people ask before booking Ballyhoura Glamping in the Ballyhoura Mountains is about the bathroom situation 😅

And honestly… fair enough.

People love the idea of escaping to the countryside for a night or two, but nobody wants to be wandering across a field in the middle of the night looking for the loo.

So every cabin pod has its own private ensuite with a hot shower, hand basin and loo, plus fluffy towels and Green Angel toiletries waiting for you when you arrive 😌

You still get the mountain views, fresh air and cosy cabin experience… just with a few extra comforts thrown in.

Tucked away in the Ballyhoura Mountains, within easy reach of both Cork and Limerick.
