In June of 1977, local man Jim Brennan purchased Kilkenny’s oldest hotel, the iconic Club House.

While done “on impulse”, it was actually a lifelong dream to provide first-class hospitality to every person who passed through its doors.

After nearly 50 years of doing this so successfully, he passed the baton over to his son Ian and his wife Joanna.
