🌱 Why Spring is One of the Best Times to Visit Killarney 🌱

While Killarney is stunning year-round, spring brings a special kind of magic.

🌿 Nature Awakens
As winter fades, Killarney National Park bursts into life with lush greenery, colourful wildflowers and trees in full bloom. The landscape is refreshed, offering breathtaking views of lakes, mountains and woodlands. The cherry blossoms are just stunning to watch come to life around this time.

🌸 Peaceful & Less Crowded
Spring offers a quieter escape compared to the summer months, letting you explore at a relaxed pace. With fewer visitors, you’ll have more space to take in the beauty of Killarney’s trails, gardens, and scenic spots without the crowds.

Skellig Islands – A Magical Wonder off the Kerry Coast 🌊✨
Rising dramatically from the Atlantic, the Skellig Islands are a breathtaking sight and a must-visit for nature lovers and history enthusiasts.

🏛️ Skellig Michael – A Step Back in Time
This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to a remarkably preserved early Christian monastery, perched on steep cliffs and offering incredible panoramic views. Its remote and mystical atmosphere even caught Hollywood’s attention, featuring in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

🐦 Little Skellig – A Haven for Wildlife
While inaccessible to visitors, Little Skellig is a vital sanctuary for seabirds. It hosts one of the largest gannet colonies in the world, making it an important site for conservation and research.

Skellig Michael is just one of many reasons why Kerry is an unforgettable destination. 🌍✨

We've been working behind the scenes on some brand new dishes and we couldn't pick a winner so we've added not one but TWO of our favourites to Dan Linehan's breakfast menu!
😋
Introducing..
🧀
Dan's Irish Rarebit - mustardy, vintage cheddar goodness melted on toasted homemade soda bread with homemade relish
🥓
Dan's Breakfast Stack - buttery fried spuds, crispy bacon, perfectly fried egg topped with black pudding crumble and served with homemade relish.
👌

BIG shout out to my cousin Nicola for the AMAZING homemade relish made with the homegrown veg from her garden in Waterford.
