The Brehon Hotel & Spa was delighted to be invited to Adare Manor Hotel yesterday as part of the Ryder Cup Europe 2027 Year to Go celebrations.

Representing The Brehon, Ciaran Lynch had the privilege of playing as a guest of Elijah Craig, part of Heaven Hill Distillery and an Official Partner of the Ryder Cup, alongside Max Stefka and Bryan Fallon of Heaven Hill and Nick Stecher of Maxim.

The welcome from the Adare Manor team and caddies was exceptional, and the course itself was truly unforgettable. Highlights included seeing the first tee already marked out for next year’s Ryder Cup, the approach into the iconic 18th, and finishing the day with the prize-giving in The Gallery at Adare Manor.

It was a surreal glimpse of what lies ahead when the world’s attention turns to Adare Manor in 2027, and a real privilege to experience the venue in advance of such a significant sporting occasion.

We are incredibly grateful to Elijah Craig, Heaven Hill and Adare Manor for an unforgettable experience and a truly special day, and look forward to continuing to grow our partnership with Elijah Craig in the months ahead.

We would also like to wish Luke Donald and Team Europe the very best of luck as the journey to 2027 continues - we can’t wait to see it all unfold at Adare Manor! 🇪🇺🏆

🌯Dingle Food Festival, 2nd–4th October. Dingle's streets fill with stalls, tastings and local producers for one of Ireland's best-loved food weekends. Wander the town at your own pace and eat your way along the way. Just over an hour from The Brehon.

🎃Killarney Pumpkin Farm, 3rd–31st October (select dates). Tucked into the hills of Headford, just outside Killarney, the farm offers pumpkin patches, a corn maze, a haunted cottage, storytelling with the Seanchaí and resident alpacas.

📽️ Kerry International Film Festival, 15th–18th October. Killarney becomes a hub for Irish and international cinema, with features, documentaries, shorts and premieres, plus filmmaker Q&As, workshops and industry panels. This year marks the festival's 27th edition.

A fantastic €2,850 raised for Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation💙🧡

We were delighted to present a cheque for €2,850 to Jack and Jill Children's Foundation, following our recent PAR 72 golf challenge as part of the Today FM fundraiser.

The €1,425 raised on the morning was generously doubled by our Directors, Eamon and John O’Donoghue, bringing the total to €2,850 - enough to fund up to 143 hours of nursing care and respite for Jack & Jill families.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated and helped spread the word.
