Today we say goodbye to a local legend, Michael Melly. There are so many ways to describe Michael - a businessman, a talented musician, a man always with a joke and a laugh you often heard before you even saw him. But most of all, he was an exceptionally kind man, the type of kindness that wanted no recognition. We will miss him immensely and our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time.

After a thankfully very busy summer season, we have decided to close the kitchen for the next few weeks while we take some time to plan what’s next for the The Fleet Inn restaurant.

The bar will remain open as usual with amazing live music every week and a new cocktail menu coming soon🍹

Please feel free to bring in food from all the amazing takeaway options in the town. Plates & cutlery can be provided 🍴

A great evening to get the festival off to a great start. Make sure you come down to support the Billy Broderick 5k runners over the line and the marching band who will walk the kids fancy dress and special guests into the diamond. All followed by the amazing Mack Fleetwood tribute band 💃🕺
