Join the RNLI crew at Kilrush Lifeboat Station, Cappa, tomorrow, Saturday 25th July, 1pm–4pm.
It's a family day out with:
⚓ Boat display
🚤 Rescue demonstration
🍔 BBQ and refreshments
🌟 A visit from Stormy Stan!
Come along, meet the crew, see the lifeboat up close and find out what they do on the Shannon Estuary. All welcome!
Please note there is no parking at the lifeboat station – parking is available nearby in Cappa.

Congratulations to Shane McGibney & crew on SMILE who won Class 2 IRC and ECHO and also were the Overall Winners at the WIORA West Coast Championships hosted by Tralee Bay Sailing Club -Fenit this week.
Smile won the two WIORA trophies which are named after Shane’s grandparents, the Charlie McGibney Cup for Class 2 IRC and the Ita McGibney Cup for the Overall ❤️.
Well done also to Jackie & Donough Cronin & crew on JIMMY BUM for some great sailing in a very competitive Class 1 fleet.

What a fantastic June Bank Holiday weekend we had at the Clare Scout Water Weekend! It was a busy and action-packed few days with 62 young people and their Scout leaders taking part in sailing, kayaking, hiking, pier jumping, crab fishing, BBQs, campfires and plenty of singing. The group camped locally for the weekend and also enjoyed a memorable trip to Scattery Island.

A huge thank you to all the leaders, volunteers and supporters who helped make the weekend such a success, and thanks to our own instructors and assistants Karl, Tara, Mike and Muireann. Most importantly, well done to all the young people who embraced every adventure and created memories that will last a lifetime.
