Valentia Island Caravan and Camping is a family friendly Park, operated by John and Emma Shanahan. We are situated on The Wild Atlantic Way and just 400m from Knightstown village. Our Park is nestled in quiet surroundings on the outskirts of Knightstown village, making it a perfect base for exploring the Islands natural beauty and to enjoy a unique Island holiday experience. Valentia Island is accessible from the mainland, by road bridge from Portmagee and by car ferry from Renard Point, Cahersiveen. The ferry runs from Knightstown Pier to Renard Point. It operates a continuous shuttle service, with a five-minute crossing, 7 days a week from April to October. Knightstown is the main hub of activity on the Island. The picturesque village offers superb views of Valentia Harbour, Beginish Island and the mainland. Used as the departure point for a variety of boat trips and fishing trips, it also boasts many activities and attractions within walking distance of the Park

☀️ Sunshine, sea views and a taste of the Skellig Coast ☀️

If you're making the most of the beautiful weather this week, why not stop by and enjoy a drink overlooking Portmagee Harbour?

Take a seat in our outdoor area, soak up the sunshine and enjoy a glass of w**e, a refreshing Skellig B**r, or something tasty from our restaurant menu while watching the boats come and go.

Feeling a little more adventurous? 🌊

Join one of our Skellig Cruises or add your name to the waiting list for one of the last remaining Skellig Michael Landing Tour spaces this season.

The views are waiting. 💙
