𝓒𝓮𝓵𝓮𝓫𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓢𝓲𝔁𝓽𝔂 𝓨𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓼 🤩

Today we were delighted to launch our 60-year anniversary truck, a Scania 770S from Nolan’s Scania.

The mural on the back is a nod to where it all began, featuring the main man himself, Peter Ward’s first truck against the backdrop of Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo — his home place. A small piece of our past, proudly carried into the future. 💙

A particularly special mention must go to Mary Nolan, who handed over the truck to us today. It was an emotional moment for all, knowing that Mary handed over trucks in years gone by to the main man himself. To have her there today, 60 years on, made the occasion all the more special.

The keys are going to none other than Jim Scanlan, a true stalwart of our company who has been with us for an incredible 36 years — something not many can say.

Jim also celebrated his 50th birthday last week, and we can’t think of a better way to roll into your 50s than taking this beauty out on the road!

A big thank you to Tom Nolan, Diarmuid and all the team at T Nolans Scania for their help in getting this very special truck ready for the road. Also huge thanks to Mossy of Auto Wiring for all of the work completed on this truck.

Here’s to 60 years behind us and many more miles ahead. 💙
