Sincere condolences to family and friends R.I.P 🙏Mick❤️

Hanley (Mitchelstown & Kildorrery)

On October 15th 2026, peacefully, with his family and in the exceptional care of all the staff at Cork University Hospital, Michael (Mick), (ex. Dairygold), formerly of Labbamologga, Kildorrery.

Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Lee) (Tully, Glenroe), loving father of Catherine, John, Michael and James and dear brother of Liam, Phil (Kennedy), Eileen (O’Connor), Josie (Condon) and the late Tom, Rita Lonergan, Kevin and Mary Ahern.

Sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Justyna, grandsons Sean and Scott brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephew, great-grandniece, relatives, neighbours and friends.


May Mick Rest in Peace.

Reposing at The Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, P67 DX81 on Sunday evening (18th October)
from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Reception into the Church of Mary Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown on Monday (19th October)
for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Brigown New Cemetery

It is with great sadness that the Fox family announce the passing of Pat, a cherished husband,father,grand-father and friend. Pat passed away peacefully in I.C.U. at University Hospital Cork, in the presence of his devoted family. Lovingly remembered by his wife Mary (O'Halloran), son John, daughter Bríd, son-in-law Tommy, daughter-in-law Sharon, grandchildren Stephanie,Adam,Olivia,Nora,Mary,Tom,and Sean'Og, Adam's partner Ellen,Stephanie's partner Ian,family friend Seb, brother John, sisters Nuala, Kathleen, and Lil (O'Connor, Manister), niece Eilish,nephews Mark, John and Patrick, brothers-in-law Joe and James, sister-in-law Ruth, grand-niece,grand-nephews, cousins, neighbours and many, many friends.

Reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home, Ballylanders, V35 A3F4 this Saturday evening October 17th. from 5pm.to 8pm. Reception into Our Lady of Ransom Church, Glenroe on Sunday October 18th for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Cancer Research at C.U.H.

Sincere condolences to family and friends. R.I.P 🙏Stephanie❤️

McCarthy, Stephanie (Howth and native Mitchelstown) Passed away peacefully on the 9th of October, 2026, aged 57, surrounded by her loving family. Stephanie lived her life full of love and joy. The love of Donal’s life, Gus and Julianne’s adoring and proud mother.

Dearly loved by her parents John and Brid, brothers Colman and Fintan, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and by her many friends and relations from Howth, Dublin, Cork, London and California.

Rest in Peace.

Requiem Mass on Thursday morning (October 15th) at 10am in the Church of the Assumption, Howth followed by burial at Balgriffin Cemetery.

Sincere condolences to family and friends. R.I.P 🙏Elizabeth ❤️

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth O’Connor, Carrigane, Mitchelstown, and formerly of Kildorrery, Co. Cork, who passed away unexpectedly on 2nd October 2026, at Cork University Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Dermot and Breda, her brothers Gerard, Pat and John, and her brother-in-law Liam Collins.

Much loved sister of David, Marie (Collins), Eileen (Horgan), Paul, Anne, Michael and Theresa (O’Leary). Elizabeth will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.
