We specialise in Caravan & camping, Watersports and boat hire, with the added attraction of viewing Cribby Island, home of the 'white tailed sea eagles' from our lakefront pitches or discover Holy Island by boat. Our Red squirrels will enhance your experience at the park, but they won't share their nuts!!

Yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 24 June, following an alert from members of the public, Lough Derg RNLI was requested by Valentia Coast Guard to investigate a report of a swimmer overdue and, later, of a vessel adrift on the lake - thankfully both callouts were false alarms but with good intent; the swimmer was safe on shore and the vessel was at anchor and the people on board not in need of assistance.

Aoife Kennedy, Launching Authority at Lough Derg RNLI said 'we were glad to know that all were safe and well for both of these alerts. The lifeboat was stood down for the first call and the RNLI volunteers who were on exercise for the second call, continued with the their exercise afloat.

We would like to remind all water users, especially in this current heat wave to take every precaution, let someone on shore know where you are going and when you plan to return. If you see anoyone in difficulty, phone 999 or 112 and ask for the Coast Guard to get help. Tell the struggling person to Float to Live
Throw them something that floats, such as a life ring."
