31C is forecast across Donegal on Thursday with many parts of the county potentially hitting 30C during the day, please also be aware there is also a possibility of of severe weather later in the day with severe Thunderstorms, hail, downpours, Flash flooding and even the potential tornadoe in the forecast, the environment looks good for the potential development of a tornado.

I will continue to monitor this over the coming days as this will need to be closely watch. Models are forecasting CAPE between 4000J/Kg to 6500J/Kg, I have not seen Hugh values in the 6000 forecast for Ireland over the years.

**Road Closure Notice**

The Wilton Recycling Donegal International Rally is taking place on the 19th, 20th & 21st of June this year.

The main road leading to Rosguill Holiday Park will be closed from 10am until 6.30pm on a Sunday the 21st of June.

As part of our constant commitment to improve Rosguill Holiday Park we are in the planning stages of replacing our current Tennis court with a Padel Court. Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the world & is a much more accessible game to play for all ages as opposed to tennis.

☀️ POTENTIALLY SOMETHING WARMER ON THE HORIZON 🔥

☀️ I've been keeping a close watch on the longer-range weather models for the past few weeks. As I mentioned in last week's update, there are indications of warmer conditions developing from late May into early June. The ECMWF model, which is quite reliable, has shown signs of a high-pressure system building over Ireland around the 3rd week and towards the last week of May. This could lead to airflow from the east to northeast, pushing temperatures into the mid-20s.

Now, the question is whether this trend continues with additional weather models coming in. The GFS model isn't quite aligned with the warmer forecast yet, so we may have to wait a few days for verification and if this does develop.

The timeframe for this warmer spell is expected to develop at some stage between the 3rd week of May and the bank holiday weekend at the end of May into early June.

I'll keep you posted on any developments in the coming week.
