We are delighted to say that Duncannon’s annual summer family festival will take place on Saturday, 18th July 2026. The free event will have a range of fun activities for children and adults on Duncannon’s beach, fort and green, and will end with a live-band finale and spectacular fireworks display. We will post the full programme of activities soon, so stay tuned.

The Duncannon Village Renewal group are organising the event with the support of Fáilte Ireland, Wexford Co. Council and local businesses, but we can't do it without your help. We need volunteers to help on the day and make the festival possible, so if you can spare just a couple of hours please message us. Thank you!

It's about time 🌞

The weather is set to pick up over the weekend, with temperatures set to climb into the mid-twenties next week.

Saturday and Sunday will be dry and sunny, with highs of around 23 degrees 🌡️

Temperatures are expected to reach 25 degrees on Monday, but it may bring heavy showers and thunderstorms to the east and south.
