"Where do we even begin?
From the moment we booked our wedding, we knew we were in good hands, but the reality exceeded every expectation we had. Our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of and more, and that is entirely thanks to the incredible team who looked after us from start to finish.
Liam, our Wedding Manager, was simply outstanding. Throughout the entire planning process, he was always there to answer questions, offer reassurance, and guide us through every detail. No question was ever too small, and no request ever felt like an inconvenience. On the wedding day itself, he was nothing short of amazing. From helping calm our nerves before the ceremony to keeping everything perfectly on schedule, he made what could have been a stressful day feel
completely effortless. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly, yet always seemed to appear exactly when we needed him. He even reminded me to stop and eat! Liam's care, professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made such a difference to our day, and we will never be able to thank him enough for everything he did for us.
Alex was equally fantastic in managing all of the accommodation arrangements. Her communication was exceptional throughout the entire process. She kept us informed every step of the way, regularly checked in with us, and made sure both we and our guests had everything we needed. Knowing that side of things was so well organised took a huge amount of pressure off us.
We also want to mention the food, which was absolutely incredible. Every meal was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and received so many compliments from our guests. Everyone was genuinely blown away by the quality of the food, and it was one of the many highlights of the day.
We also want to thank Adam, the General Manager, who helped make our evening and Day Two celebrations just as special. He was friendly, approachable, incredibly efficient, and ensured everything ran seamlessly. His communication and attention to detail were second to none, and it was clear how much pride he takes in making sure guests have the best possible experience.
What truly sets this venue apart, however, is the people. Every single member of staff we encountered was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely invested in making our wedding perfect. Whether it was during the planning process, the days leading up to the wedding, or the wedding itself, nothing was ever too much trouble. We always felt supported, listened to, and cared for.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The hotel is beautifully maintained, spotless, and provides the most incredible backdrop for a wedding. What amazed us most was how the team brought our vision to life. All we had to do was leave our extra little decorations and ideas with Liam and his team, and somehow they transformed everything into something even more beautiful than we had imagined. Every little detail was carefully considered and executed perfectly.
One of the greatest gifts the team gave us was the ability to completely relax and enjoy our wedding day. We didn't have to think about logistics, timings, decorations, moving belongings, or solving problems because they had everything covered. They even moved items from our lodge, carefully set aside things we had accidentally left behind, and accommodated our dog being part of the ceremony without hesitation. Any last-minute changes or requests were met with kindness and a willingness to help.
People often tell you that your wedding day flies by, and they're right. But because of this incredible team, we were able to be fully present and enjoy every second of it. We never once worried about what was happening behind the scenes because we knew everything was being handled by people who genuinely cared.
When we look back on our wedding, we don't just remember a beautiful venue. We remember the people who made us feel special, supported, and completely looked after. They gave us memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
To anyone considering this venue for their wedding: book it. You will not regret it. We honestly would not change a single thing about our experience, and we cannot thank the entire team enough for giving us the most perfect wedding day imaginable."
