Yesterday we visited Killinthomas woods in Co.Kildare. 25 minutes drive from The Red Sheds it offers 4 different walking routes and lots of nooks and cranny's for the younger ones to explore. A definite place to visit and one we will certainly return to.

Hi folks,
I'm the series producer of DIY SOS Ireland (on RTÉ One) and we are coming to Co. Offaly. We would love any promotion you can give us as we are on the hunt for some volunteers & suppliers!
This September, we are coming to Walsh Island/Coolagary, Co. Offaly to build a safe, warm and accessible home for the Harte family.
Damien and Hazel are raising three amazing children, each with varying levels of autism. Their youngest son, Noah, is non-verbal and has additional complex needs. Their current home is cold, damp and no longer meets the needs of their growing family.
Together, we can create a sensory-friendly home that provides Noah and his family with the comfort, safety and space they deserve.
We are looking for any volunteers, trades people, suppliers or any catering companies (hotels, restaurants, cafés etc.)
We have our trades day tomorrow but would love to hear from anyone at all who could help us out in September 🙂
