The Long Strand – wide Atlantic stretch, popular for surfing and walking. And treats at The Fish Basket Longstrand

Red Strand – quiet, scenic cove near Galley Head with a seasonal sauna.

20 minutes or more (but worth the drive)
Inchydoney – one of Ireland’s most famous beaches!
Duneen Beach - small but gorgeous.
Dunworley – sheltered bay with beautiful views.

A day trip that feels like the very edge of the world - just over an hour's drive from us in Rosscarbery, Mizen Head is one of West Cork’s most unforgettable coastal journeys and well worth every winding mile.

Ireland’s most south-westerly point, this is where the land meets the full force of the Atlantic. Expect dramatic cliffs, powerful waves, and vast, open ocean views that stretch as far as you can see.

Walk the cliff paths out across the iconic bridge to the Signal Station and lighthouse, explore the old keeper buildings, and take in some of the most dramatic scenery on the Wild Atlantic Way.

It’s a place for slow wandering, salty air, and plenty of photo stops 📸
