It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our dear colleague and friend, Michael McCreary.

Michael was a much loved member of the Kelly’s Hotel family for over 49 years, and his passing leaves a great sadness amongst all of us who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.

For so many of our guests, Michael will be fondly remembered from Beaches Restaurant, where his cheeky grin and warm personality were such a familiar part of the Kelly’s experience.

He was a kind and gentle man who genuinely loved being surrounded by people, whether chatting with our guests or sharing a laugh with his colleagues.

Over almost five decades, Michael became part of the fabric of Kelly’s. Generations of guests and colleagues came to know him, and he will be remembered with enormous affection by so many.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Michael’s family and friends at this very sad time.

May he rest in peace.
