💫 Christmas Wreath Workshops with Caroline✨

There is something so magical about Legan Castle Farmhouse at Christmas time!

Our Luxury Christmas Wreath making workshops are back for 2026!

This whimsical affair, is a relaxed, interactive workshop, hosted in our lounge in front of a roaring open fire.

Using a mixture of fresh and dried foliage, Caroline will guide you step by step to create your own wonderful wreath to take home.

Our workshops are suitable for all. Whether you are coming alone or joining friends, all our workshops are warm and welcoming and you will enjoy a wonderful time with likeminded people.

I served afternoon tea in the farmhouse to our workshop guests on Sunday. Finger sandwiches, lemon posset with shortbread, mini scones with jam and clotted cream. All homemade, even the clotted cream (recipe to follow!)..Then we headed out to plant a crocus lawn. A perfect afternoon!

“Gorgeous George” headed off on his adventures on Sunday to his new owner. A bitter sweet day. I’m already missing him greeting me every time I pass the paddocks but he has gone to a wonderful home and I couldn’t hope for anything more. Wishing him and his lovely owner the very best of luck. He is such a smashing little pony 🧡

A Sunday well spent! I thoroughly enjoyed hosting our workshop on Sunday. “Autumn Planting for the Spring Garden”. 🪏 🪴

All but one of our attendees had been to us before and one lady travelled all the way from Longford!

I love hosting these afternoons, with great company and enjoying conversations about life and inspiring one another.

I will post our festive and spring workshop schedule soon. If you’d like to keep up to date with upcoming events, you can sign up for our newsletter. Link in our bio ✨

The first real chilly morning… everything is looking so dreamy in the early light. Love it.

Busy preparing for our gardening workshop tomorrow, I’m so looking forward to it. It’s going to be a fabulous day 🪏

Cosy season is here and tbh… I’m not mad. I love this time of year. My complexion wasn’t tailored for the prolonged heat wave we experienced this summer. Give me crisp chilly mornings and nights by the fire and I’m content.

🪴 Just 2 places remaining! 🪏

Dreaming of a garden filled with colour next spring? Now is the time to start planting.
Join me this Sunday, 4th October, at Legan Castle Farmhouse for “Autumn Planting for the Spring Garden” — a relaxed, hands-on afternoon all about planning and planting a beautiful spring display.
We’ll cover choosing the right spring bulbs, when and how to plant them, creating beautiful combinations, planting in containers, and naturalising bulbs in lawns and woodland areas.
You’ll also plant up your own spring bulb planter to take home, ready to enjoy next year.

No afternoon at the farmhouse would be complete without something delicious, we’ll finish with homemade afternoon tea, with plenty of time to chat and meet like-minded garden lovers.
We have just 2 places left, and I’d love you to join us.

Picked at dawn, in the rain … she is perfect. Shes Café au Lait. My first year growing this dahlia. What a beauty. Another one to add to my top list of dahlias to grow. They can be demanding but they are so worth the effort. She is absolutely stunning 🤩

Sign up to our mailing list to hear about workshops where I can teach you to grow and also become obsessed with dahlias too!
