South Sligo need to be serviced better than it currently is.

We see it in our office every day. The lack of regular public transport services greatly decreases people desire to live (rent/buy/build) in smaller towns and villages.

This then puts an increased demand on the small amount of available properties in better connected urban centres, increasing prices, and making it unaffordable for the average person / family / local to buy/rent.

By making commuting options more frequent in South Sligo, you give people more choice of where to live, raise a family, go to school, or work. The knock on effect is felt by local business and community groups as there are more people to bolster local community facilities and economies.

South Sligo cannot continue to be ignored and allowed to lag behind.

TFI - Transport for Ireland Bus Éireann Residents of South Sligo cannot sustainably afford the prices of your current services as a means for communting. You need to provide better options.

Move better, live better! Stronger for Longer is back in South Sligo! 💪

Join Tubbercurry GAA Club with an 8-week strength & power training programme designed especially for adults 50+. Build strength, boost energy, and stay active in a fun and supportive group.

The programme is starting on the 8th of September (Monday)
📍 St. Brigid’s Hall, Tubbercurry

🗓 Programme Options:
Mondays @ 9:30am – Mixed Class
Wednesdays @ 10:30am – Women’s Class
Wednesdays @ 11:30am – Men’s Class

💶 Cost:
€40 (1 class per week) (OR €7.50 PAYG)
€80 (2 classes per week)
