After having a great morning at they regained their energy with breakfast at Cafe Gordons 😋 ☕️🥓🍳

Back in 1996 I walked into "Lynchs pub" in Tynagh with my uncle delivering sweets to the one and only "Brendan Lynch". I had an old Galtee rasher box and he bought it off me for a fiver 💰 I was quids in 😂 He was delighted because if you knew Brend you knew he was partial to gathering a "small few items" 🫣 And the fact that I had pulled it out of a skip in Eyrecourt that very morning made it all the special to Brend 😂

Fast forward 17 years and i rented Lynches pub AKA Gordons for a year with no intention to buy 😂 And this my friends is how I ended up buying my now home and business with the help of my good friend Brendan Lynch. Thanks Brend 🙏

He was a witty, smart and cheeky devil 😈 Alot of people thought he was a force to be reckoned with. Me, I loved him and to me he was like a teddy bear 🧸 I told him this many times and he say "jaysus dont be f**king telling the c**ts that" Dont worry Brend I wont tell them 🥰

Brend and his family were a big part of the Tynagh community for many years when they had the pub. The antics and the stories are something that would make an amazing book but there could be a few arrests if all was revealed 🤐 so as Brend would say to me "Car a closed mouth catches no flies"

Brend I will miss you so much and never forget you. Your stories will be told and enjoyed forever 📖 Rest in peace with Doll 💔

A fantasic day out, so well organised and a serious turnout on the day!!! Well done to all the organisers 👌

Just a post to thank everyone who came out and supported our raffle yesterday! 🎉

First of all, a massive congratulations to Thomas Geraghty, who won our first prize – the heifer – on the day! 🐄

We want to say a sincere thank you to:

Lost and found from the Cafe. Do you own anything?? Call to the Cafe if you do. There is also a very expensive scarf here if anyone owns it. We will need a picture and description of the scarf from you to pick it up.

Best of luck to this little pocket rocket in her new job tomorrow, doing what she does exceptionally well, working with horses. You will be amazing 👏

To me she was the best little sous chef 👨‍🍳 anyone could ask for 🌟 We will miss you soooooo much Zara 😭 You are a kind and amazing young lady 🥰

Any employer would be lucky to have you ✨️
