Virginia Park Lodge is set in 150 acres of beautiful Cavan countryside. Now owned by Richard Corrigan, the estate is a unique venue for everything from corporate events, to weddings, to sporting weekends. during this period of restoration we are only accommodating large bookings, corporate events, house parties and weddings however please feel free to contact reception regarding self catering cottages. The estate was originally owned by The Marquis, Lord Headfort.

Join us on Saturday 19th September for an unforgettable evening in the company of one of horse racing's most celebrated figures, Ruby Walsh.⁠

Make a weekend of it and check in from Friday to Sunday, with time to explore the estate, enjoy exceptional dining and relax in the heart of the Cavan countryside. The main event begins with a Champagne and canapé reception, followed by dinner and an evening of stories, insight and plenty of humour from Ruby, alongside Dave Jennings and Johnny Dineen, before live music rounds off the night.⁠

Our lunches at the Lodge return from 6 September with our Harvest Lunch. Enjoy the best of our garden produce, with a centrepiece of slow-cooked lamb shoulder served alongside seasonal vegetables, all grown in our gardens.
