Cliff House Hotel is a five-star, privately owned luxury hotel located close to Cork and Waterford. The building seems to cling to a cliff on the south side of Ardmore Bay where there has long been a fishing village, and a Christian settlement that pre-dates St. From sun-drenched terraces and private balconies it is possible to see Ardmore’s sands, lobster pots and dolphins that play out on the water. All our luxury rooms and suites are sea facing while many are interconnected to provide family-friendly configurations. From this dramatic coastal location in Ireland’s gourmet heartland you can enjoy some of the country’s best restaurants - including our own Michelin-starred House Restaurant. We also have a bar with an outdoor terrace for summer dining. Our intimate destination spa, The Well, is a key attraction. We are close to a number of Ireland’s championship golf courses, and encourage outdoor adventures to support your wellness goals, your Cliff House experience always enriched by accurate, old world service that’s warm and true to the Irish spirit. Our design is Irish modern: white walls, cupa stone columns, sedum moss-covered roofs and limestone terracing. We have Ireland’s largest private collection of campaign furniture and specially commissioned artisanal works, from handcrafted glass pieces by Glasshammer to individual resin designs by Sasha Sykes.

On Thursday, 22 October, Michelin-starred HOUSE Restaurant at Cliff House hosts an intimate Chef’s Table experience, where every course tells a story and the w**emakers themselves are there to share theirs.

Head Chef Reinis Vidins has created a specially curated 9-course tasting menu celebrating the finest seasonal ingredients, with each course complemented by a carefully selected w**e pairing.

Loire Valley w**emakers Justine Baudry and Lionel Gosseaume will join guests at the table, personally introducing their w**es and sharing the stories, craftsmanship and terroir behind each glass.

Just a scenic drive from Cliff House Hotel, the Kilmacthomas Viaduct is one of the most striking landmarks along the Waterford Greenway.
Built in the 19th century as part of the old railway line, today its magnificent stone arches carry walkers and cyclists high above the River Mahon, with beautiful views towards the Comeragh Mountains.

On Thursday, 22 October, join us at Michelin-starred HOUSE Restaurant for a special Chef’s Table food and w**e experience.

The HOUSE team has created a nine-course seasonal menu, moving from Atlantic scallop with Ardmore onions, Iberico paletta and sea herbs, through Co. Donegal cod and wild venison, to a final course of honey cake, quince jam, Irish honey and linden tree ice cream.

Each course is complemented by a carefully considered w**e pairing, with w**emakers Justine Baudry and Lionel Gosseaume joining us for the evening to personally introduce their w**es and share the stories and terroir behind them.
