The transformation of Westport Estate has officially begun.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, The Grace, Westport Adventure, Gracy’s Pizzeria, Bar & Bistro, and our Caravan, Camping & Glamping Village all remain open as usual. Winter Wonderland will also return this Christmas with a reimagined experience for 2026.

This landmark €65.5 million redevelopment will create one of Ireland’s leading heritage and visitor destinations, celebrating our rich history while creating exceptional new experiences for generations to come.

As work progresses, there will be temporary changes to access across parts of the Estate from Tuesday, 4th August. Please note that Westport House will be closed to visitors while the transformation takes place. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

To keep our local community informed, we will be hosting Drop-In afternoons every Tuesday throughout August from 2.00pm to 4.00pm ay Church Lane, Westport (F28 A9C4).

An exciting new chapter begins for Westport Estate.

Minister of State Alan Dillon officially turned the sod on our redevelopment project. Supported by a €65.5 million investment from the Hughes Family and Fáilte Ireland this transformational redevelopment will see Westport Estate become a world-class tourism destination.

Over the coming years, we’ll restore historic spaces, celebrate our rich heritage and create new experiences that invite visitors to connect with the stories, nature and beauty of this remarkable place.

This investment marks a significant step forward for Westport Estate, our community and tourism in the north west of Ireland. We look forward to sharing our progress as the redevelopment takes shape.
