Waterford Food Festival – Sept 4-6

One of the favourites on the festival calendar for the South-East.

A promise of amazing food experiences throughout the weekend to include Waterford’s Harvest Festival Food Lovers Global Taste Trail.

Mary Coughlan is playing and free outdoor entertainment from Mick Hanly along with many others.

Comedy, canapes, workshops and foraging in the forest are some of the activities.

This should be great craic – definitely one of the better Harvest Fests.

Killarney in Colour
If you need a bit of colour in your life, then check out this Irish artist “Maser”.

He began his career as a street artist and evolved into painting murals and has exhibited extensively across Ireland and Internationally.

If you are taking a trip to Kerry this September we highly recommend a stop off in Kenmare (just 30 minutes from Killarney).

Maser will be creating a new mural at Finnegan’s Corner taking in Kenmare’s history and heritage.

His work is so uplifting, full of colour and energy. This should be a fantastic addition to this beautiful town, and you might get the unique opportunity to see this artist at work.

This home is over 150 years old and overlooks the River Blackwater.

August September, a swim to remember!

September is the perfect time to take a dip. It’s at its warmest as the sea warms slowly over the summer and peaks in September.

It is also a fantastic time to enjoy the health benefits of the seaweed as it will now be at its best.
