Happy Bank Holiday Weekend from all of us at Aherne’s! 🤍
We’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has visited, dined with us or stayed with us since we began this new chapter.

So far, the breakfast room, bedrooms and entrance hallway have all been “Julied.” 💗

With a full townhouse and a busy bar and kitchen, we’re making thoughtful little improvements each day, adding our own touch while preserving the character and charm that make Aherne’s so special.

Come winter, we’ll really get stuck into the decorating, but for now it’s all about those small daily tweaks that make a house feel like home.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend, whether you’re joining us in Youghal or enjoying the long weekend elsewhere. We look forward to welcoming many more of you through our doors.

What a day.

At 6pm today, we opened our doors to the Youghal community, and the welcome we received was beyond anything we could have imagined.

It is a true privilege to become part of Aherne’s remarkable legacy. Thank you to everyone who called in to wish us well, share a drink, or simply say hello.

This is just the beginning, and we couldn’t be happier to call Youghal home.

48 hours, a lot of hard work, and a whole new chapter begins…

Since receiving the keys to Aherne’s, we’ve been busy behind the scenes — painting, decorating, moving furniture and adding our own touches to this very special place.

We’re delighted to be opening our doors to Youghal and the wider community this Wednesday 15th from 6pm for our soft launch, serving bar food and drinks.

We know it’s been a very quick turnaround, so we ask for your patience and kindness as we settle in — but we couldn’t wait any longer to welcome you through the doors and begin this exciting journey.

The support and warm welcome we’ve received from the local community has been truly overwhelming. From our family to yours, thank you for all the messages, encouragement and support so far. ❤️

We can’t wait to meet you all, welcome familiar faces and make new memories together.

Our team is ready and waiting… we’ll see you very soon at Aherne’s.
