Meet Mr. Bloom’s playlist

A collection of timeless classics for slow mornings, late night cocktails and everything in between.
sit back and enjoy the good life

Which song is your favorite?

The song was originally called In Other Words. Years later, Sinatra’s version was played during NASA’s Apollo missions, so it really did make it to the Moon.

Feeling Good was first written for a British musical, but Nina Simone made it completely her own. Today, it is hard to imagine the song in anyone else’s voice.

The melody comes from the French song La Mer, which was simply about the sea. The English lyrics turned it into a love story about someone waiting on the other side.

The song started as an instrumental called Marina. It later became La Belle Vie, a song about enjoying the good life, preferably without rushing anywhere.

Nat King Cole recorded L.O.V.E. in five different languages, including French, Italian and Japanese. Apparently, one version just was not enough.

You've probably noticed...
music is part of our story.

So we couldn't help but wonder 🤔
if Lily & Bloom was a jazz song,
wouldn't it sound something like this?

Today is International Lazy Day.
Our only recommendation? Stay in bed a little longer.
And if adventure calls, Tel Aviv is right outside your door.

Every city has buildings that witnessed history. This is one of them.

Long before it welcomed travelers from around the world, Lilienblum 48 was built as one of the first branches of Mizrahi Bank in . Since 1935, these walls have seen the city grow, businesses flourish, and generations pass by.

In the 1940s, this corner of Lilienblum Street looked very different.

Inside this modern building, people opened bank accounts, signed important documents, and took part in the rapid growth of a young Tel Aviv. At the time, its clean lines and ribbon windows represented a bold new architectural language that would later define the city’s famous heritage.

Designed by architect Alexander Friedman in the International Style, the building embraced a simple philosophy: function before decoration.

Its horizontal ribbon windows, smooth white façade, geometric proportions, and dark marble entrance weren’t just aesthetic choices, they reflected a new way of thinking about

Nearly a century later, those defining features remain carefully preserved.

In 2015, the building underwent a careful restoration that respected its original character while preparing it for a new life.

Recognized as part of Tel Aviv’s architectural heritage, every significant detail was preserved, from the iconic façade to the proportions that have made this building a landmark for almost 90 years.

Today, the building has a new purpose.

The former bank has become Lily & Bloom Boutique Hotel a place where historic architecture meets contemporary hospitality.

The walls are the same walls, but The story continues.

Stay somewhere with a past worth discovering.
