The Big Barn Come and be a farmer for a day! Get to experience all the activities that happens on an organic farm on a daily basis. It is not a resort or a theme park!

The Big Barn is an urban farm in Bangalore ideal for kids picnics and birthdays! Very close to the Bannerghatta National Park! It is an actual farm! We are very particular about the timings you can visit.We try our best not to disturb the various pets and animals on the farm! You could inform us about your visit a week in advance! Join us at Big Barn Nature Camp, Bannerghatta, for a day of nature immersion. The fee is ₹950 per person, all-inclusive of the plant walk, farm tour, and lunch. Timing: 9:00 AM (Report) to 1:00 PM (Lunch). Limited slots available! Link in bio
What we’ll be doing:

The Plant Walk: A guided trail through the camp identifying common trees you see daily alongside rare native and exotic species you rarely spot elsewhere.

Local Folk Lore: The cultural history, myths, traditional uses, and local stories behind these plants.

Full Camp Tour: A complete walkthrough of the Big Barn grounds, taking in the space and soundscape.

The Lunch: We wrap up the morning with a hot, freshly prepared farm lunch together.

The Schedule:

09:00 AM — Reporting time & arrival at Bannerghatta

09:30 AM — Plant Walk, Lore Session

12:00 PM — Breakout time to unwind and explore on your own

01:00 PM — Lunch is served & wrap-up

An Ongole breed pair who now call the barn home, their personalities couldn’t be more different.

Bhima arrived as an angry bull — restless, guarded, unwilling to trust. But time has a way of softening edges. With patience and care, he mellowed. Today, he leans into familiarity, seeks affection, and has quietly become the gentle presence no one expected.

Lakshmi, on the other hand, keeps her distance. She doesn’t mingle easily. She responds on her terms — usually to treats. Calm, selective, and self-contained, she reminds you that not every bond needs to be loud.

Together, they are different rhythms sharing the same space.
