The Jehan Numa Retreat is a rare and exclusive getaway – located just within the boundaries of the city, and almost an extension of the Van Vihar National Park. This is an intimate collection of low slung room blocks, uniquely designed as aesthetic village style cottages with sloping walls and roofs and filled with colours from the earth and stone of the region. The rooms are decorated and furnish

ed with exceptional style and comfort. They also feature private decks, separated by tall standing local plants overlooking magical views of the fields and greenery around the residences. The cottages lie on either side of an intimate hub of the Under the Jamun Tree restaurant, a signature Jehan Numa characteristic, across which the Spa extends towards the Swimming Pool and Wellness centre. A surprising luxury is camouflaged by the native simplicity of a tree lined estate, and the subtle elegance of Jehan Numa’s nawabi tradition is imbued in fine details and caring service. The focus is on the natural and the organic, a harmonious reconnection of the body, mind and soul with the luxurious gifts of nature.
