The mountains are sleeping, and for a moment, so are we. ❄️

Winter in Ladakh hits different.

It’s not just cold; it’s completely still. 🏔️
Right now, the village has slowed down. The snow is piled high on our balconies, the trees are bare, and even our resident Dzomo is taking it easy. It’s a total pause from the busy season.

We’re using this quiet time to catch our breath and recharge. The house is resting now so that when the snow melts and the sun comes back, we’ll be ready to welcome you home.

We’re closed for a little while to get some rest, but we’re already excited for what’s coming next.

Snow has covered the gardens and quieted the paths. We view this not as an ending, but as a peaceful pause to start again. Beneath the snow, the land is preparing for the warmth of spring.
