🕷️ Meet the tarantula — one of the jungle’s most misunderstood creatures! 🌿

Despite their intimidating appearance, tarantulas are generally shy and prefer to avoid confrontation. They are mostly nocturnal hunters, feeding on insects and other small creatures.

Their large, hairy bodies aren't just for looks — those hairs can help them sense vibrations and movement around them. Some species can also use tiny urticating hairs as a defence when threatened.

And here's the important part: tarantulas play a valuable role in the ecosystem by helping control insect populations. 🌱

So the next time you spot one, remember — it isn't looking for trouble. It's simply playing its part in the wild. 🕷️🌳
