What does it take to create a lake where there was none?

Lake 5 at Grape County was created with a purpose beyond simply adding water to the landscape. It is part of a larger effort to restore the ecosystem, support groundwater recharge, and create habitats for birds, aquatic life, and native flora.

Today, five man-made lakes across our 300-acre landscape collectively conserve 25.4 crore litres of water.

This monsoon, swap the usual resort activities for something a little more unexpected. 🌱

Hop on a tractor, follow the farmers into the fields, get your hands dirty, and try your hand at planting rice the old-fashioned way.
It’s messy. It’s surprisingly challenging. And yes, there’s a good chance you’ll lose a boot or two in the mud. 😄
