JUSTICE FOR SAM
Sam was never “just a dog.”
Sam was our 4-year-old baby.
Our only child. Our family. Our home. The heartbeat of our lives.
For 4 beautiful years, he filled our home with love, happiness, and a kind of unconditional love only a soul like his could give. He wasn’t our pet… he was our son.
On 8th May, we handed our baby over in Mumbai, healthy, happy, wagging his tail, trusting Emirates Airlines and Carry My Pet to bring him from India to Dubai… to finally come home to us forever.
We left Rajkot with tears of happiness, counting hours until we could hold him again.
We had no idea that goodbye at the airport would be the last time we would ever touch our baby.
At 11 AM, we received a video of Sam walking. Happy. Alive. Our beautiful boy.
And then, just hours later, our whole world shattered.
We were told he was “not fit to fly.”
Then came a video no parent should ever see…
Our baby struggling to breathe… scared… helpless… fighting for his life… looking for us… while we were waiting for him with open arms, believing he was on his way home.
By the time he reached the vet… our Sam was gone.
Our baby died alone.
In pain.
Without his mom. Without his dad.
Without one last hug.
Without hearing “we’re here, baby.”
And that pain… that guilt… that helplessness… will stay with us for the rest of our lives.
So we ask you—
Would you trust an airline with your pet after this?
Would you hand over your child believing they are safe… only to receive videos of them dying alone?
Who is accountable for this?
How do parents ever live with that?
Sam was not “just a dog.”
Sam was our only child.
And he deserved to come home.
Please stand with our boy.
Please help us get answers.
Please help us get justice for Sam.
