But how do we know that birds evolved from dinosaurs? How do scientists determine relationships between species? And how can a simple observation in the field contribute to science?

Join us for Evolution to Evidence, a three-day immersive workshop that explores the connections between evolution, natural history, and citizen science.

Through lectures, discussions, guided field sessions, and night walks, we'll journey from the evolution of tetrapods and phylogenetic trees to documenting observations and contributing to biodiversity knowledge.

This workshop is for anyone curious about the natural world - students, educators, naturalists, wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, and lifelong learners.

Amphibian Hour 2026 — done, and done well.
Delayed rains gave us something unexpected: a mixed bag of amphibians and reptiles, across Myristica swamp, paddy, forest, and riverine habitat — a reminder that the Western Ghats rewards patience more than perfect timing.
Two evenings of presentations covered the genera of Indian amphibians and the basics of reading phylogenetic trees — tools that make field observations richer and more meaningful.
Grateful for participants who showed up curious, stayed observant, and asked the right questions.

That's what makes programs like this worth running.

The Amphibian Hour, because every hour is for amphibians, takes you through the world of these amazing creatures.
Its a field-based, education-first experience where you'll get upclose with frogs & toads, maybe caecilians too, learn what makes them ecologically vital and discover how the document them responsibly.

Designed for curious minds of all backgrounds, above the age of 12.

Join us for the Camera Trapping Workshop. A hands-on experience designed for Homestay or Estate Owners, as well as anyone interested in Wildlife Monitoring, to explore how camera traps can reveal the hidden wildlife around their property.

Learn how to set up, manage, and interpret camera trap data to:
