Ten years ago, in India, I was going through a moment of change.
My teacher asked me a simple question:
“what is missing, and what do you want?”
I didn’t have a clear answer.
Only one thing I knew for sure:
I didn’t want to wait for holidays or weekends
to feel the way I felt in that moment.
So I said:
“I want every day to feel like weekend sunshine”
A lot has changed since then.
Life, work, continent.
But that sentence stayed.
It still guides me.
It’s also what sits behind Casa Janna
a place built around the idea that this feeling
doesn’t have to be occasional

Dieci anni fa, in India, stavo attraversando un momento di cambiamento.
Il mio Teacher mi fece una domanda in apparenza semplice:
cosa ti manca, e cosa vuoi?
Non avevo una risposta chiara.
Solo una cosa sapevo con certezza:
non volevo aspettare le vacanze o il weekend
per sentirmi come mi sentivo in quel momento
E così ho detto:
“I want every day to feel like weekend sunshine”
Da allora, tanto è cambiato.
La vita, il lavoro, il continente
Ma quella frase è rimasta
Mi guida ancora oggi
E guida anche quello che c’è dietro Casa Janna
un posto costruito attorno all’idea che questa sensazione
non debba essere occasionale.
