The season is over and the shutters are closed. Now that we can slow down a little, I’d like to look back at what we shared this year.

The Real Lake Como, our first magazine, came to life: a collection of the stories and places we love, the ones that tell the history of our land and make this corner of the lake the magical place it is.

Then came Slow, our days with FERUS. The House Of Change by BurnPichler w**e & scalp workshop, sound healing, breath session and mindful eating with Licia Florio CIAOMONDO, the walks above the lake, and a morning on the water with Chicco.

With Bellagio Unscripted, we gave a voice to the people of Bellagio, who told their stories in their own words, including a personal conversation with my mother, Tiziana.

And just as the season was ending, we started Albòri Incontri. Those first evenings around our table were the beginning of a series of gatherings that will continue next year.

Thank you to every guest who stayed with us, to everyone who was part of this year, and to our people, who brought the magic of this house to life, every single day.

We’ll keep every moment with us through the winter.

Today, another season comes to an end. To us, welcoming you means sharing with you the true, timeless soul of the lake, and making you feel part of our home.

We are now turning off the lights for a few months, but we keep the warmth of all the moments we lived together this year shining bright.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts from all of my family and the entire team.

Every Albòri Incontri brings a new kitchen to our table.
The second one comes from the sea, from the shores of a lagoon.

The lake meets the lagoon.
Albòri, on Lake Como, and Fradis Minoris, on the Nora lagoon in P**a, Sardinia.

Two bodies of water with a trait in common: both have physical boundaries, which gives their ecosystems a character very different from the open sea.

On October 12th, two kitchens share one menu, a bridge between Lombardy and Sardinia with Como and P**a at the same table.

Francesco Stara, Chef of the Michelin-starred Fradis Minoris.

Born in Sassari, he cooked for more than 15 years in the UK, Canada, Brazil, France, Australia, the United Arab Emirates and Spain before joining Fradis Minoris in 2020. Eight months after he took over the kitchen, the restaurant earned a Michelin Star and a Green Star.

At Fradis, every ingredient has its own identity and origin, and the team knows the fishermen, farmers, cheesemakers and small producers behind each one.

On October 12th, that world arrives in Bellagio.

Raw materials and producers come first in his kitchen, and Sardinia runs through the name itself: Albòri is a variation of “arbori”, the Sardinian word for the moment just before dawn.

On October 12th, he welcomes a fellow Sardinian to the stove: two chefs, two waters, one table.

A four-hands dinner is always a special moment in the kitchen. Two chefs from different restaurants and backgrounds, working together on one menu.

It’s exactly the kind of back-and-forth we had in mind when we created Albòri Incontri: a new series of dinners championing young chefs, producers and voices, making something beautiful together — for one night only.

The first one lands on October 1st, and it’s with the Michelin-starred Grow.

The lake meets the fire. Bellagio’s water meets the woods of Brianza.

On one side, Chef Marco bring Albòri’s language: raw materials, local producers, the lake’s fishing and farming traditions. On the other, Matteo and Riccardo Vergine bring Grow’s: embers, wild game, a garden they tend by hand, a zero-waste philosophy.

4 hands, two culinary realities, one tasting menu with 7 courses - for one night only. October 1st, Belvedere Bellagio.

On the right, Matteo — in Albòri’s kitchen with what he calls “trapper cuisine”: cooking over embers with wild game from a certified, controlled supply chain. On the left Riccardo takes the floor in the dining room, as maître and sommelier, with the same care for fermentations, kombucha and w**e pairing that built Grow’s list of nearly 200 labels, now poured lakeside.

Raw materials, the lake’s fishing and farming traditions, read through his own Sardinian roots. His cooking is a dialogue between cultures and on October 1st, that instinct opens the kitchen to Matteo and Riccardo Vergine: two more voices at the table.

September days by the lake begin slowly, in Pescallo, when the water is still.

You head out — by sailboat, kayak, or on Queen Helen with Chicco — following the Bellagio peninsula, past hidden villas and reflections that shift with the light.

Then back ashore, into the village, as the day unfolds through Bellagio and settles into an aperitivo by the lake, when everything changes once again.

Just around the peninsula from Bellagio, San Giovanni moves at its own pace. The bells mark the hours. The boats barely move.
