Or you can enjoy the enchanting places of the Amalfi Coast such as Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello.. It is possible in less than 7 minutes to take a ferry to Capri too!

At the ancient Villas of Stabiæ water sistem elements were found as you can see in the photo. It is a container entirely made of embellished lead!

Villa Arianna is one of the two Villas at Stabiæ ruins. It takes the name from a picture representing Arianna, the princess of Creta (Greece), abandoned by Teseo, his beloved. The decorations demonstrate the high standards of life of the owners, some rich Roman nobles.

➿ L’antica Stabiæ era una città molto importante all’epoca dell’eruzione del Vesuvio del 79 d.C., infatti, era la meta preferita dei ricchi Patrizi romani che pensarono bene di edificarsi delle ville con accesso diretto al mare! 🤩💙
➿ Non si può di certo dubitare del loro buon gusto, o no? Siamo sicuri che è venuta voglia anche a voi di farci visita 🥰

Queste isole a sud della pen*sola sorrentina hanno da sempre esercitato un grande fascino, tanto da renderle ambite da molti personaggi famosi. Nel 1924 il coreografo e ballerino russo Léonide Massine acquistò l'arcipelago, facendo costruire una magnifica villa che l'architetto Le Corbusier abbellì ulteriormente. La proprietà passò poi, nel 1989, ad un altro celeberrimo ballerino russo, Noureev Nureyev.

🔹Cari ospiti, questa notizia è troppo bella per non essere condivisa con voi! Nei nuovi scavi che sono stati ripresi grazie al progetto di manutenzione e restauro della Regio V, è riaffiorato un Termopolio perfettamente conservato con l’immagine di una ninfa marina a cavallo e animali con colori talmente accesi e vivi da apparire quasi tridimensionali.

🔸In qualche modo questa scoperta ci riguarda: il Termopolio (Thermopolium) era la tipica rivendita di cibi e bevande calde affacciata su strada. È il progenitore dei nostri contemporanei fast food- tavole calde: la riprova di ciò che era già noto, cioè che i romani hanno anticipato di duemila anni le grandi catene americane. In altre parole, prima di Mc Donald’s a Pompei avevamo già il Termopolium! 🤩

🔺 Il nostro é un paese ricco di storia e cultura che merita di essere valorizzato... noi ci proviamo 🥰 e speriamo intanto che sia un buon segno, affinché tutto possa tornare alla normalità! 🤞🏼

🔸Somehow this discovery concerns us: the Thermopolium was the typical resale of hot food and drinks facing the street. It is the progenitor of our contemporary fast food: the proof of what was already known, namely that the Romans anticipated the big American chains by two thousand years. In other words, before Mc Donald's in Pompeii we already had the Termopolium! 🤩
